Wife at 20, mother at 24 and tertiary student at 27.

That’s me in a nutshell.

I completed my high schooling at Sir John Adamson in the south of Johannesburg in 2005. Went on to begin my tenure at Standard Bank where I have been since August 2006. Within 2 weeks of starting, I fell for a guy and in 2008 we were married. I was 20 years old and had no idea how difficult it would be. I was smittened and determined to being a good wife. I taught myself to cook and clean….. But before our first anniversary I realised that cooking & cleaning was not for me. Lucky to have a man by my side that feels just as passionately about the lazy life, its been a interesting few years building a life together.

In 2012 we had a beautiful baby girl and she has taken our world by storm. She has taught me so much about being a women and the kind of person that i want to be. She has been my conscience in times when I felt like giving in to lifes pressures. With her in my life, I am complete. Because of her, I HAVE to build a great life where i can provide her with all she deserves.

2015, I began my tertiary studies. For the first few years of my grown up life I focussed on being a wife and then mother. And now, 10 years after completing high school, I am a student again. It definitely hasn’t been easy adjusting but I am lucky to have a great support system.

In 2015 I also started this blog that I have become so proud of. Building it from the foundations up, not knowing a thing about the industry. I couldn’t have accomplished all that i am proud of without my amazing husband who has been my I.T. guru and my niece who has become my personal photographer.
